Siddhartha Yonzone Tamang,

Professionally known as Siddharth Yonzone,
Founder & Proprietor - Siddharth Yonzone Films

I’m Siddharth Yonzone a filmmaker, photographer and cinematographer, and the Founder & Proprietor of Siddharth Yonzone Films, an award-winning filmmaking and photography studio based in Sonada, Darjeeling, West Bengal.

​

What began with a passion for cameras, filmmaking and visual storytelling has grown into Siddharth Yonzone Films a creative studio built around the belief that good visual work should do more than simply look beautiful. It should have purpose, emotion and a story worth remembering.

Today, my work spans filmmaking, photography, cinematography, documentary, commercial content and visual storytelling, creating visual experiences for people, brands, businesses and spaces.

From weddings and personal stories to music artists, hotels, cafés, restaurants, corporate, documentary projects and commercial productions, I approach every project with the same principle: understand the story first, then find the right way to tell it. Composition, light, movement, sound and emotion all have a purpose, and every frame should contribute to the larger story.

Over the years, my journey in filmmaking has also brought opportunities to work with and around established names in the imaging and filmmaking industry. I have built a strong creative connection with the Canon ecosystem, regularly creating and sharing work around Canon’s filmmaking tools, and have also received recognition from Blackmagic Design. These experiences have been an important part of my continued growth as a filmmaker and creator.

But for me, filmmaking has never been only about cameras and technology. It is about people, ideas and the way a story makes someone feel.

That is also why Siddharth Yonzone Films works beyond traditional production. I enjoy helping businesses and brands translate who they are into visual content whether through a brand film, commercial photography, social media content, a space-focused production, or a complete visual identity.

Based in the hills of Darjeeling and working across different sectors, my goal is simple: to create work that feels intentional, authentic and cinematic, while remaining true to the people and stories behind it.
